Small rituals for more connected teams
Three low-pressure ways to make room for people in a busy Slack workspace.

Connection does not need another mandatory meeting. Small, repeatable rituals can give people a way to participate without adding much to their day.
Share a weekly win
Open a thread for something that went well. A helpful review, a tricky problem solved, or a teammate lending a hand all count. Keep participation optional.
Celebrate the person, not just the milestone
Birthdays and work anniversaries are a chance to notice someone beyond their task list. A specific, kind message often means more than a long announcement.
Good rituals create an invitation, not an obligation.
Leave room for different working styles
Asynchronous teams do not all show up at once. Keep a thread open, avoid measuring participation, and make it comfortable to simply read along.
